One of the brewing industry leaders in Africa chooses eLeader
Castel is among the leaders in the production and distribution of beer and non-alcoholic beverages in Africa, with operations in 21 countries on the continent.
In order to effectively manage its sales and distribution as well as to standardize the systems for managing mobile forces and distributors in Africa, Castel decided to implement eLeader Mobile Visit solution, which the company found to be robust, reliable, and readily available to the users.
Our client was looking for a solution that could handle different cooperation models with direct and indirect customers (breweries, distributors, retailers). A necessary condition here was effective integration with various management systems / ERP.
So far eLeader solution has been implemented in seven Castel branches: Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Senegal, Mali and Togo.
The replacement of old systems used by various Castel divisions in Africa with eLeader Mobile Visit made it possible to optimize and automate the most critical trade processes, such as gathering information from the field, collecting and processing orders as well as managing direct sales (all of which is very specific in this sector of activity).
Until recently, our operations in different countries were conducted using information stored in a number of different systems, which made it difficult to use data and manage teams on a daily basis. The implementation of eLeader Mobile Visit addressed the needs of our subsidiaries, increasing the efficiency of fieldwork and optimizing the distribution of our products. The deployment of the distributor module was a small revolution, which enabled us to improve all the links in our distribution chain – says Henri Martial Assanvo, Sales and Distribution Application Manager.

In cooperation with eLeader teams, key logistic processes were modelled and subsequently offered by Castel to its partners. Now all distributors can monitor and analyse their activities – i.e. direct sales or inventory management. Through improved distribution management, Castel has significantly increased its sales potential and additionally enhanced the flow of goods.
The strength of Leader Mobile Visit lies in its great flexibility, which allows us to adapt it to various cooperation models, sometimes extending beyond the area closely related to the sales of products, and covering such additional processes as equipment management (pressure machines, refrigerators, in-store advertising, refrigerator failures, etc.), or improving the cooperation between different departments of our subsidiaries. We are continuing our efforts to implement eLeader Mobile Visit in all of our subsidiaries by 2023, covering several thousands of users a day – adds Henri Martial Assanvo.
